Hello, Tina,

I am also looking for ancestry and descendants of William Smith and Susan Ann Preston.  They were the maternal grandparents of my maternal grandfather, who lived in northeast Nebraska.  I'm pretty sure my folks are the same ones you are looking into.

William and Susan Ann had several children,  including George, Ann, Mary Ann, and Louisa Ann.  My grandfather's mother was their daughter Mary Ann.  William Ward must have married one of Mary Ann's sisters, because Mary Ann married   xxxx   Francis.     Their children included Grover Cleveland Francis, my grandfather.

I would really appreciate hearing from you so we could exchange information.

Thanks very much,

Roxanne
