Clara:

I don't recognize any of your family.  My grandfather came from Mountcollins, Abbeyfeale, Limerick some time before 1920.  I don't know where he arrived.  I can't find him anywhere in Ellis Island records.  He settled in Wash, DC, and was married in Baltimore (to my non Catholic grandmother)  They lived in NE DC, where he died in 1930.

I have a tree posted on the Ancestry.com site.  I believe you can have access w/out a paid subscription.  (I don't pay).  Let me know if you're interested...

Pat

How do I access your tree.

Thanks

Clara

Patrick O'Conner is my GGGGrandfather and the father of Sarah Elizabeth O'Conner Miller ,She is my GGGrandmother wife of Samuel W. Miller who is the son of William S. Miller and Huldah Ann Wells.

Patrick and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Hoisen or Hishon are buried in cemetery at Higgins Corners,Venanago Twp.,Butler Co0.,PA

I am interested in your connection to Samuel William Miller.  He is my ggg grandfather. Do you have any documents/sources that show his marriage to Sarah Elizabeth O'Connor from Butler?  Or any documents/sources that show his father as William O'Connor? I was going to order his pension records, but am hoping you may already have these and I could possibly obtain copies?

His daughter Ida Alice Miller was My Great Grandmother.

Samuel had sister - Sarah and 4 brothers Jonathan,Joseph,Hiram and James and 2 stepbrothers William and Peter. We have a Miller family reunion  every August and , this year will be year 88

Clara

My Miller family has been here since early 1700's

Most of my grandmother's family is from the Lycoming/Bradford County area.

I also have the info about Samuel's birth date and location. Also about the marriage to Sarah E O'Connor.  I wasn't able to pinpoint where Sarah E O'Connor was from?

I descend from Sarah Emeretta Miller-(Ida's oldest sister it looks like)!  Samuel William Miller would be my ggg grandfather.

Would it be possible for you to send me copies of the death certificate and Civil War papers?

Also, is there a record of the marriage? I haven't been able to find it?

I have seen that the Millers have been in the Lycoming County area since the 1700's. I haven't researched my line past Samuel William Miller yet.

I have an old photo I haven't been able to date yet-with 2 men on it-one younger and one older -labeled Sam Miller and WiIl Kilgus. I can send you a scanned copy.

I would be interested in the reunion. Where is it held?

So exciting to find a family link!

Sue

Sarah Emmaretta Miller B: Feb.5,1860 in Tivoli,Lyc.Co.,PA married George Parsons.

Children :

Oliver Oscar , Elizabeth C. , Lillian May , Agnes Emmaretta , Emory Elwood , Howard Allison.

I also have Lillian  married Martin Paul O'Connor , Agnes married George Herbert Newman , Emory married Sara Bertha Welliver , Howard married Wilda Sheets . Where do you fit in?

Yes, Lillian May m. Martin O'Connor. They are my great grandparents.  Their daughter Beatrice Ruth O'Connor Randall is my grandmother.

Suzanne, I can not connect Martin Paul O'Connor with Patrick because I found on his civil papers that he spells his name as Patrick O'Conner so I'm back to checking for a different set of parents. Also I found out that Jonathan's 1st. wife was Phebe O'Conner ( could be in Patrick's family)

My Mother was the daughter of Rachel Elizabeth Winder, Rachel's mother was Ida Alice Miller who first married my Great Grandfather Burton Alvie Winder and he died from a snake bit, They had 7 children and she married 2nd. Milton Laurenson and had 7 more children.

Ida Alice Miller was the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Elizabeth O'Conner Miller

My mother was born out of wedlock. Birth cert. has her as Clara Marie Buck . But went thru life as Elsie Clair Laurenson, because her stepfather Wilson Laurenson had a sister named Clara. He never adopted my mother.

I have children of Lillian and Martin as: Paul Allison , Maude Francella , Martin Lewis ,Beatrice Ruth , Agnes Emmaretta.

I have Samuels brothers death cert. and civil war papers. I have a lead on their sister Sarah Miller , but just a lead. Jonathan Miller was the oldest boy. then Samuel ,Hiram , Joseph ,  James . Huldah died in 1846 after James was born. William remarried to a Jane Black and had sons Peter and William. William and Jane lived in Muncy when William Jr. was born.
