Searching for Duke, James E from KY and Duke in Grayson County, Texas

Hi, Donna:

I just found this group.  I have information on the Grayson County, Texas, Duke if you have not already found him.  I am curious of the James E. Duke from Kentucky you mention here.

I am researching the Duke family from Tennessee and Texas.

The James E Duke I am looking for died 1900 in Kentucky.  His son (my ggrandfather) was Mason Duke and he lived in Grayson County Texas.  I am thinking I might have some Dukes in TN.

Very interesting looking at the Mason Duke line - Kentucky and Iowa.  Interesting because a branch of my husband's Tennessee Duke family ended up in Grayson, Texas - James B. Duke, b. 1812 in Sumner County, TN.  A lot of their children ended up in Grayson, too.  Could be a coincidence?  I am stuck at James Duke b. 1770-1780 (father of James B).  So many James!!

Will keep all this in mind as I do my research.
