Where are other people researching Goodes? My line is my paternal grandfather's family. We only have names and information back to Dayton OH where my grandfather grew up but he was told as a child that their family came from Alabama and that the name was originally Good but that the E was added to distance themselves from slave owning relatives/ancestors. Would love to meet and hear from other Goodes and Goode researchers!!
