Hello Ray, Yes there are Gallaghers in my family tree. My great grandfather sister. Mary Bell married a William Gallagher in St George Charlotte County NB Canada in November 23rd 1874 and her sister Martha and Husband Francis Morin were witnesses. There is also a William Galagher of St. George that married a Rebecca Sloan in July 8th, 1830, with a Daniel Ross & Norman Baldwin as witnesses. Not sure if either are related. I just happened across them in the Anglican Weddings while searching for Bell's and Logan's. My g.g.grandmother was born in Dery Ireland and the Logan Family came to New Bruswick, Canada in around 1832-1833.
I will try to find more about the Galleghers in the Canadian censuses. If I come across something I will let you know. My email is tinkerbell1070@msn.com.That way I can send attachments. Blessings, Daniel

Hi Ray and welcome. Isn't researching the Gallaghers from Donegal frustrating? There are just so many of them!!! Have you been able to make much headway on your side?
