I really haven't used GenealogyWise. I checked it out couple of weeks/months ago, thought it was interesting BUT I am already on ancestry.com and use FamilySearch.org, < this is a free genealogy website and very useful, in case you haven't used it. Also it is provided by the Latter Day Saints, so it has many records as well as family trees. It is compatible with ancestry which is what I like. I also have a stand alone program on my pc, FamilyTreeMaker, so my tree is always secure on my pc, you can sync your computer tree to ancestry and I believe to Family Search. One thing to keep in mind w/FamilySearch (FS) your tree can be changed by anyone who wants to add or subtract from your tree. On ancestry you tree cannot be changed unless you give permission to someone.
There is also rootsmagic, legacy and heritage a few other programs and websites that come to mind.
Do you know anything about the Bright family, where they were, where they came from, etc.
I hope I haven't rattled on too much, let me know how you need help and I'll see if I can help!
