Okay, you've got her death record. When was she born? Need just a bit more info to go on! Even an approximation will help!

I have a birthdate of July 10, 1859 in Gallia County, Ohio. I also have a record that in May of 1886 she was a resident of "Deer Lick" in Mason County. I've done some checking in that county also, but to no avail.

Her husband was Charles Justice Hulbert, but he remarried a number of times after her death, before he died in Cincinnati years later (and was buried there) Florida's mother-in-law & father-in-law were buried in Huntington Cemetery, but I can't find Florida.

My first impulse is to ask where her parents are buried. Presumably not in WV?
Next, do you know the cemetery her father-in-law and mother-in-law are buried in?
If so, I would contact that cemetery and see if they have a register or plot map indicating the burials from that time period [unfortunately alot of these old cemeteries don't have records before about 1900. Some not even then.] She was so young when she died, I would bet that her husband buried her someplace where family would have been buried, or was well known to them at the time.
You can check out cemeteries on rootsweb. Get mailing or phone info on google. Contact the cemetery's adminstrative person and check with them. Check with the known cemeteries first. [Like where other family members are buried.]

If you don't find her where you think you might, keep contacting the Huntington cemeteries until you hit the right one.
Checked her death record. Stamped Huntington for burial. Funeral Home: 'Johnston & E___[?]" Can't find a Johnston listed now at all. So, it's a no go there. I'd check cemeteries next for sure.

That was my thought too, that because her death was early - more than likely unexpected (she had 3 children, youngest being a year old at the time of her death), her husband would've sought out add'l family members to bury her near.

Her father and mother were buried in Gallia Co., Ohio - just across the stateline more or less. Gallia County has a wonderful website where they have all of the transcribed burials listed online - excellent resource! Father is showing there, he actually died when she was just a child herself. And mother, although remarried, is also showing in the same cemetery. I have inquired to the Gallia Genealogical Society, and they have nothing on her. If she was buried there, it was never transcribed, never found, or it's lost to time and the elements. Possibly in Lawrence County, Ohio also - the family was back and forth between the 2 counties and West Virginia quite a bit.

I have been in touch with Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington - and Florida is not listed there. (This is also where her in-laws were buried)

Here's another tidbit - she had a child who died shortly after her, sometime in 1889. Have never been able to find him either. My guess is these two are buried near one another - wherever that may be!

Does anyone have a listing of the Cabell Co. cemeteries as well as Mason Co.?? My guess is there are probably a number of small, unknown cemeteries - but if I can know in my head that I've checked what is absolutely possible to check, maybe I'll sleep better at night?? I only suggest Mason, because there are other Hulbert family members there.

Have you checked the 1880 census for WV.
I dont know if this would help but you might want to check personal property tax list to see where they were lvining around the time she died that might give you a clue.
