FTDNA Walker Group 5 - Any other Group 5 members?  My most documented known relative is John Walker, b. 1747, Antrim, Ireland, d. 1837, Blount Co. TN; m. Mary Johnston Rowan, Mar 1779, Cumberland Co. PA.  John joined the Continental Army during the Rev. War in Cumberland Co. on May 1, 1776 for 20 months, being released on Jan 1, 1778.  He and at least 5 brothers--David, Elijah, Houston, James, & Robert--all fought in the Rev. War, arriving from Ireland just prior to the War.  Their Walker ancestors were supposedly from Scotland and possibly Wales.  My brick wall is their arrival to the Colonies and their father's &/or mother's name.  My Walker cousin is a 67/67 DNA match to Group 5 ancestor William Walker, b. 1725, Ireland?, d. 1810, Botetourt Co. (now Craig Co.), VA, but his descendant and I cannot find our common relative. My earliest known Walker is Hilary B. Walker b. 1782 in Pa. He married Elizabeth Snell in 1807 in Pa. and they moved to Ohio. My uncle did a yDna and we are E-M96....E1A1. Anyone else? We tested on Family Tree Dna.

Joseph Walker sr migrated to madison county Tn where he lived the remainder of his life and is burried there, in the walker family cemetary. Our FTDNA is group 16, we need information of our lineage before 1767

Joseph Walker sr was born in Nc and married Mary g ( POLLY ) Howard lin wilkes county Nc ate 1700 Their first child was Caswell lincoln Walker B 1800, Does anyone know who the father of Joseph Walker was, or was he an immigrant.

Searching for parents of James Butler Walker born 1860 and William Walker born about 1859. The brothers care to Texas from Tennessee about early 1880s. James settled in Hill and Johnson Co Texas..Died 1935..William lived in east part of Texas but haven't been able to find him or family.I am also searching for a male Walker from either James or Williams line to do DNA test.

Any help is appreciated.
