Thanks for getting in touch! My grandfather Jacob Besler was born in Landestreu in Galicia and emigrated to Canada in 1902. His family had been in Galicia since the late 1700s and had originally been from Biedesheim in the Rhineland. Not sure if there are any connections way back but you never know!
