I know Henniker very well...lived in Nashua before moving to Florida. Graduated from UMass (Amherst then Boston); actually lived in New England for 27 years. The world gets smaller every day.

Although the bulk of my research is the Stiles family from New England, I do have information about the Sampson family as they are "intertwined" in NH, and MA. I will gladly share what I have!

I bid on and won his journals. They run from 1900 to 1946. I don't have all of them. They are interesting. He was into genealogy and was a contributer to the big Hardy / Hardee genealogy. One of these days I am going to transcribe the journals. I always wanted to be a procrastinator but never got around to it. Henniker does have a historical society.

Meanwhile, I have a CD-ROM containing PDFs of many Massachusetts genealogy books, including vital records. I could do a search of it for you and see what turns up.
