My house is actually between the Oregon Trail and Mormon Trail, closer to the Oregon Trail that traditionally followed the South Platte River on the south side. This is a fascinating area to reflect upon. People generally migrated through here for a variety of reason such as exploration, adventure, religious motives, to gain land, start a new life, to just name a few.
