My gg-grandfather was a John Long, b Kentucky.1818, m Louisa Jane McNamer/McNemer 1838, Iliinois.  Hope to have more info to post here later.  Do not yet know if my Longs were in PA earlier.

I descend from Zacharias Long (1759-1827) patriot and innkeeper of Haverford, PA, who is buried in Jacksonville, PA.

Hi! My g.g.g.grandfather was Samuel Long (b. 30 Apr 1811 in PA - d. 3 Apr 1887 in Seward NE).

m. Permelia Ann Rodgers (Rogers) (124-1916)
c. Almirs, Lavina, Elve (my g.g.grandmother), Edna

That's about all I know so far. I'm new to genealogy and have been focusing on another part of my tree in preparation for a reunion.
