I looking to find out who Mary Ann ? (Tice) was. She and another woman Susannah are living in the household of John Tice with their children in 1850 but there are no men(husbands). Then in 1860, Mary Ann is living next to John and Susannah is still in the John Tice home with added Children with the Tice last name but still no men (husbands). Then I lose Mary Ann after the 1870 census where she is living as a domestic servant in the Henry Barnhart family with her son Lafayette.

I am looking for information on Jacob Hart. I believe he was born around 1859. He lived in a town called Cornerville. in Marietta, Washington County Ohio. He married Vesta Roach. she was the daughter of Benjamin Patterson Roach and Emma Woodward also of Cornerville. I believe Jacob's parents are Fredrick and Rosa Hart but can't be sure. I have hit a roadblock on trying to find information on Jacob as I can find no record of him after his marriage. His wife, son and wife's parents as well as the person's i suspect to be his parents are buried in Yankeeburg Cemetary. I am looking for any further information on Jacob Hart and Benjamin Roach.

It's official - the Campus Martius and Ohio River museums are under the management of a local organization formed earlier this year specifically to keep their doors open.

Hi every one, Pam Drake and I are Bowie cousins. I also have my Thomas Mullinix in Sackett Creek, Ludlow Twp. Washington County, Ohio. He married Mary A. Smith on 4 Feb 1817. She is from N.J. and he was from Fred. County, MD. I was told he was one of the first to move to Ohio. But his last name was misspelled.

I found you Debbie! I'm still trying to break through this brick wall of who Elizabeth"Betsy"Wilson's parents were back in Sussex Co.,DE. Betsy was married to Daniel Hearn at some point in Sussex Co.,DE. They moved to Washington Co.,OH. circa 1810 from Sussex Co.,DE. I have a feeling that Betsy was Daniel Hearn's second wife.Daniel Hearn had a total of 15 children. I descend from their daughter Nancy Ann Hearn who married James William Bowie 21 May 1842 in Washington Co.,OH.

Thanks for any help!

Pam in IN.
