Hi Cathy, Since I last posted here, I made a trip to Danville, IL. Found out my Jones Line lived in the Catlin IL area as well. So, we may be looking at the same line of Jones Family.
Hi Cathy, Our Moultons came from England- 3 brothers,John, Thomas and William. John stayed in Massachusetts- some of his children were granted land in New Hampshire and then went to Vermont and then some moved to northern NY which is where my husbands family settled. His mother's maiden name is Hunter. They originated from Scotland. John H immigrated to Massachusetts-then Vermont- then to Malone & surrounding area in Northern NY. Hope this helps you. Joan Moulton
