I'm related through David W. Bynum(1812 - abt. 1872) who married Blanche Rogers (1825 - 1910). I did not find Penelope in my database but according to the book "Bynum and Baynham Families of America 1616-1850" by Robert W. Baird, Penelope is the daughter of Claudius David Bynum. Unfortunately, at the time the book was published in 1983, Mr. Baird was unable to connect Claudius to any other family lines in the book.

I hope you will consider joining the Bynum surname group and good luck on your research!
