Ah. The Irish branch. Mine come from the British branch. Immigrated in the 1600's. A branch of my Jackman's did end up in Indiana in 1820 tho.

Don't forget to check out the chat room. Always someone there willing to answer questions or help with your research. Check under the chat tab at the top of the page for times and schedule of hosted chats. The hosts of those do a great job and always have interesting topics.

Hi Karen - you are right about this being an addiction. My 4th grgrandmother has a surname close to yours. Catherine Kraemer daughter of Andreas Kraemer. She would have been born around 1750. She married Philip Wolford. They lived in West Manheim Twp., York Co PA. Do you ever see that spelling and are they connected to yours?

Did you know that we have an active chat community here on Genealogy Wise? There are usually people in the chat room who can help with lookups, give advice, answer questions or just talk. We also have scheduled chats that you might find interesting. Please join us sometime.
