Thomas Colbourn (Coleburn) and Eglantine Ligar are directly related to me, whose geographic area is around Yoxall.I am attempting to trace Eglantine parentage, should you have any knowledge, could you please assist. email: acolbourne@bigpond.com
James - below is a reply from one of my Colbourne researcher contacts. From what you say, you probably know all this already. Brenda Sherwood says she does not have anything in Radbourne, but I am getting in touch with her again to see if she still has copies of her book, and will let you know when I hear.
"I have seen Colebourn entries on census born Radbourne, one Henry was in Runcorn . I have two bapt at Radbourne and two marriages re the two baptisms . There may be more only had a quick look. I find Derbyshire “colbourne” name tends to have an e after the l and often burn or bourn. The marriages are 1794 Jonathan Coleburn to Jane Chamberlain at Radbourne, Thomas Colbourn ( Coleburn) to Eglantine Anne Ligar 1817 at Etwall".
There are a few entries for Colbourne in Derbyshire in Brenda Sherwood's Colbourne Ancestry book but I haven't come across references to Radbourne as yet.. What time frame are you looking at?
