I have reached a dead end on research of my Hardin family. My great grandmother was Arthusa Hardin Horger, (b 1855, d 1941) and her parents were Abraham and Arthusa Hardin. The story is that her maiden name was Perry but I've been unable to document that. They supposedly came to TX from TN and Abraham also is supposedly related to John Wesley Hardin. I obtained death certificate for Arthusa Hardin Horger in Austin, TX and would you believe listed as parents are "unknown".
