So get this - I checked my tree. I also have a Carrie Kennedy that was born in IOWA. I stand corrected - My Kennedy's did settle in Montana but DID spend time in Iowa as well as Wisconsin. My Carrie isn't the same as yours. Mine is 1869 - 1953, and her birth name is Anna Caroline, but she went by Carrie.
Hmmmmm... Well My Kennedy's don't go back too far - I've hit quite a wall with them after the mid 1800's. But what I don know is that they came from Ireland in the 1800's and settled primarily in Montana. That is not to say there isn't some connection.... We'll see what comes of this :)
