Walkers from Surry County North Carolina

I am researching the Walkers that lived in Surry County North Carolina during the mid to late 1800's. The Walker family cemetery in Thurmond contains many ancestors of mine. I would like to talk to anyone researching the Walker family or anyone who has ties to them.
