Claiborne Rutherfordburied Rutherford Cemetery, Jessamine Co., Ky.

Caliborne Rutherford operated a large flour mill on Hickman Creek east of Nicholasville, Kentucky. He served two terms as Deputy Sherriff and one term as Sherriff in Jessamine County, Kentucky. Claiborne migrated to Missouri and lived near Pleasant Green in Cooper County several years before returning to his home in Jessamine County, Kentucky.

Pruden Rutherford, daughter of the late Joseph Rutherford, died at the home of Riley Rutherford, Union Mills, Dec. 12, 1914, aged 60. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the residence, Rev. G. W. Nutter officiating, followed by interrment in Maple Grove cemetery.
