William Wright
William Wright is my Great-Grandfather. His daughter, my maternal Grandmother is Eunice Mabel Wright. Her Mother was Nettie Fonda and her Father was William Fonda. Nettie was from Syracuse, New York.
William Wright was born in Canada. He and Nettie were divorced at least when my Grandmother was about 14 years old. I believe he ended up living in the state of Washington.

Hi Linda-
I see a Nettie Fonda that was born circa 1868, as she was 2 in 1870, she had parents William(circa 1832) and Eunice(circa 1835) Nettie had siblings Emma(circa 1864) and Frank(1866), all born in NY. William worked in a cooper shop, if I remember correctly, coopers made barrels? They lived in Geddes, Onondaga County, NY.
In 1880 they are in Geddes with additional children Ida, born circa 1871 and Lulu circa 1872/3?
In 1888/1889 there is a Nettie Fonda in Syracuse working as a semastress at (Boards) 11 Wilbur Avenue.
Is this the right family? -

Yes, that is my Nettie Fonda. I have all of the information you shared. Nettie also raised her daughter's two daughters. Dorthy and Jeanette Canton. My Grandmother, Nettie's daughter, then moved to the Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach in California and had 5 children. Actuallty the first boy Roger Williams was born in Colorado. Nettie also had two other sisters, Ida and Lulu.
