Ontario death records from after 1969?
Am still trying to find a William Cook (I know...a very common name!) from Ontario. In his brothers obit from 1969, it states the Truman Cook was survived by his brother William of Ontario. I am trying to locate a death record/obit from a William Cook.....HOW?

Go to the discussion "Vital Statistics Records in Ontario - What's Available" here in this group and follow the link for death records that are not publicly available. You will have to order a search IF you fit the criteria for obtaining such a recent record -

Does Truman Cook's obit give you any more info? does it mention a city? Was he in the military? The Vital Statistics Records are a good place to start. But as much information even if it seems trivial can help with the detective work.
