I need a bit of help. I started using PAF last spring and have quite a bunch of data
entered and when I went to add some more a few days ago I have a "memory
problem". :-) For multiple marriages, my old entries I have one male member with
two marriages and when viewing that person there is a small box above his name
for clicking to view the alternate marriage. I just tried to add a cousins daughter
with 3 marriages and can't find out how I did it before. Any one know what I need
to do to make it work again? Guess my memory is failing. :-(
    Thanks.

Lew, while you are in the individual's file, go to the menu at the top and click on 'Add'. That will allow you to add a spouse, child, or other parent to that person's file. The 'other parent' comes in handy in the case of adopted children. One of the many features I like about PAF, in addition to being able to add more than one spouse.

Thanks Spivey. Got it all sorted out but now a new problem popped up.
Working from both ends' so to speak' I have ended up with a marriage that
shows two entries but they are both the same data.. Not sure if I just delete one
of them will it still be there if the people are traced from either family. There was
a bunch of Moore's and Shivery's marrying back and forth that caused the
problem. I'll play with it a bit but may need another "clue".
    Thanks.

Lew, I once deleted my whole side of the family when I deleted my daughter's husband when she separated from him [all because she no longer wanted him in HER tree, LOL]. So, make sure of who is connected to who. I probably just selected the wrong item from the menu. I would like to learn more about the many options PAF gives. Spivey
