Hi!  Family name is Skupien from Odrowaz in southern Poland (Podhale or Galacia area).  Grandmother Karoline Tomasik came from Sadkowa, Jaslo.

Was recently tested and found my most probable DNA is J-M172.  My grandfather Andrzej came to US in 1897 to Buffalo NY.  My father and two siblings were also born there. Moved to Chicago and ended up in Wisconsin.  Family ended up with 9 siblings.  My father Michael A. (Scupien) moved to Oregon, where I am living now.  I do not have any information about Andrzej; if he had brothers or sisters, or the names of his father and mother.  Any information will be appreciated.  - Thanks!

Lebanese, Mount-Lebanon, Geno 2.0 ydna: J-Z447; after transferring to FTDNA: J-CTS2152. Z447 and CTS2152 are equivalent SNPs of J-L210; all three SNPs and others are on my branch, I mean the same line. CTS2152 and Z447 are derived; L210 is ancestral. FTDNA kit: N136769. Which populations do you think my paternal line mostly resembles? According to Geno 2.0, I cluster, from the closest to the furthest, with: J-L210, J-Z467, J-M67, J-L26, J-M260, J-PF5116, J-PF7394.

the Family DNA Y-DNA37 test says I am in J-M172.  means my ancient roots come from the Middle East?
