The Harrison family originated from Parr, St.Helens, Lancashire, England. James and his daughters emmigrated to America in 1894 and lived in Scranton, Pennsylvannia and Baltimore, Maryland. Daughter Mary married Arthur E. Linney.
Does anyone know of research to trace the Rev.Thomas Harrison's other son(s), Thomas, christened 22 May 1662 at St. Peter's, Cheshire (and, perhaps, a John I've seen mentioned)?
I need information on Jeremiah Harrison and his children. I think his family originated from Oyster Bay, N.Y. and migrated via Chester County, PA to the Washington District of Virginia (present day Washington County, VA) He owned 350 acres in the rich Valley of the Washington District of VA which was once part of Old Augusta County, VA generally located between Saltville and Harrisonburg, VA. Jeremiah's daughter, Elizabeth Harrison married my 5th Great grandfather John Harris. Also need information on Elizabeth Harrison's sister Lydia Harrison because her name connects to Stewart Harris s/o Rachel Stewart and Evan Harris II. I think Lydia is buried in northeast Ohio (c. Bowersville area of Green County (original boundaries when Ohio became a state c. 1805).
