I am related to the Blevins line from southern Ohio..my way-back grandpa, James Blevins, was a Revolutionary War soldier..James was married to Hannah (O. Lyons)..I am interested in info and have info to share...I would like to know where this line originally came from as I have read and heard different stories..It gets rough with so many in these families having same names and such!!!
From what I can find from husband is related to the same line as yours. Trying to find documentation for him to join the Sons of the Revolutionary. I am currently working on my side for the DAR. Running into brick walls on both accounts. Would like to share what I have. Although some has not been documentated. Email me at: eblevins@neo.rr.com.

Seeking information on Frederick Blevins. He is buried in Wooster Cemetery in Danbury CT 1909. I can find no other record of him. There is also a Charles H. Blevins buried there who died in 1918.
My Great Uncle was named for Frederick Blevins and that is why I am trying to tie him to the Russell family of Danbury CT.
