The Harrison family originated from Parr, St.Helens, Lancashire, England. James and his daughters emmigrated to America in 1894 and lived in Scranton, Pennsylvannia and Baltimore, Maryland. Daughter Mary married Arthur E. Linney.

I find my 1st Harrison , Josiah b. 1693 All Hallows Parish, PrinceGeorge, Maryland. I follow the family through Germantown, Montgomery Co. Md. They begin to scatter, with my line going into Kentucky and then Indiana.
This line is said to connect to the lineage of Col. Robert Hanson Harrison who was private secretary to General Washington. The line is said to have been in this country before the R.W.
