This unknown "Soldt" arms from Holland also has potential connection for the Solt family
It is from the Hans Heinrich Reclam now housed at the Berlin archives. Unfortunately Reclam did not record much other than the name and design. We do know that 5 stripes were common in the Netherlands/Belgian area near Germany. Received about a mounth ago and nothing is known at this time. Aertsen…

Still researching and possilble connection with "Sold" arms
A potential link which is being investigated from Alsace (not so far from Germany) and this belonged to merchant so he must have traveled. I have seen a slight variance on this drawing which slightly shifted the stripes downward so the exact middle of the 2 stripes aligned with the corner.
