I don't really know. One of my sets of grt-grt grandparents are Robert Terrill Beale and Nancy McKinsey Beale. I know them back to Missouri and Kentucky. Nancy McKinsey's parents were James McKinsey & Lucy Hume. James McKinsey's parents were William McKinsey & Nancy Susan Lampton. Lucy Hume's father was William Hume. I have the McKinseys farther back, but William Hume is the end of the line for my information on Humes. Any of this sound familar?
