White Family Relations of Grandmother Armstrong

These are relations of Lurena (White) Armstrong. Does anyone have and idea of the ethnicity of the man standing? If you magnify the pic. you will see that he has ear spools. To the best of my knowledge the people in the pic. would have been from Pike County, PA area. Any help - GREATLY appreciated!!
