I have been researching my Charette's for about a dozen years amongst other names. I have them documented back to when they first arrived in Quebec. I do have some Charette relatives in Sudbury and area. I was born and raised in Espanola and now live in Sault Ste. Marie. I have saved documentation as I came across it and do not just have names. I worked with a lady from Azilda a year or two back to help document her husband's Charette background and shared with her all the information I had. Would you be interested to cross reference your Charette's with mine to see if we can find a connection and how far back we would have to go. I am going to post a photo of my Great Grandfather with I believe are his 4 brothers also a wine glass I bought about 30 years ago part of a 32 glass set with the Charette Family Crest on it.
