- What surnames are you interested in researching?
- All of my grandparents came from Sweden with my maternal grandfather coming from Hogsater, Alvsborg which now apparently is known as Hogsater, Vastra Gotaland. Is that correct or am I totally confused? Though my name is Lewis (they changed it when they came to the USA at the encouragement of some Norwegian kids who said Lewis would be more "American") all my ancestors names are Andersson, Johnson, Segerstrom, Persson and Gustavsson etc. The vast majority, from what I've found come from Smaland and the Vastra Gotaland areas.
- What countries and other locations are you interested in researching?
- Sweden in General. My father's side of the family largely came from Skane
