Henry Knupp

My gggrandfather Henry Knupp was born in Germany about 1836 and gggrandmother Margeat Shank about 1835. They show up on the United States 1870 census in the state of Ohio as a teamster. I don't know anything else about Knupp or Shank in Germany. Would anyone know how to find any information or know anything about these two families?
