I still have 19.0.0.179. There is no update for this, only 180 or 206. When I run Check for Update, FTM2010 says I have the latest. When I try to run the update, I won't apply the update. Any suggestions?

Was your Version 2010 installed from an Installation CD?

What version of Windows are you using?

Are you having any problems?

Yes, it was installed from a CD, and I'm using Win 7, 64-bit.

I don't appear to be having any problems, other than this latest update glitch.

Bill,

Just to be sure, are you in the US? Sometimes that makes a difference.

That patch is a manual patch, based on your operating system. It will NOT show up when you click on Check Updates.

It's up to you IF you download and install the patch, but IF you run into any problems, you might want to go ahead and download and install the patch.

I am in Ontario, Canada.

I have dounloaded the patch, 180-207.exe. (There is no 179-207 patch.)

When I try to install the patch, I get the following message "Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match." The patch then aborts.

I would like to get FTM patched to the latest.

I am trying to find an answer for you.

Not sure why your version is 179, when the Installation CD should install 180.

I think I know what is going on. There was a SP-1 for Version 2010 that brought it up to 206.

Please go to the Knowledge Base website at

http://ftm.custhelp.com

and enter 5074 in the Search Support box on that page. Use the manual installation of SP1 that is discussed in that article.

Then see if you can install the patch on this discussion.
