John Pratt (1607-1655) was an original settler in Hartford, CT. The family stayed in that area for several generations, Aaron Pratt moved to Buffalo, Erie County, NY. Elijah Pratt, (1803-1877) my gr gr grandfather moved to Brasher, St. Lawrence County, NY in 1824 and then to Almira, Benzie County, MI.

I have had FTM for so long I can't remember. I use the 2009 version took some getting used used too but I like it. Looking forward to 2010. There are only a couple things I miss about the older versions but the biggest is a report on birthdays of living individuals that was in the older versions.

I like the 2009 version, didn't like the 2009

I have used FTM for about 14 years and am now on the 2006 version +16. Interested in how people feel about the 2008 and 2009 versions.

I must say, I have been using FTM for the past not sure how many years. Was not sure about the new format 2008 but was given 2009 and after a bit of fiddling around found I liked it a lot.
am now trying to load everything on to Ancestry.com and loving that even more. I am adding my data one by one (and I have 30 yrs of research) and am not getting far as I am making corrections and finding lots of contacts through other trees. I also like the books and tree printouts that can be purchased and I believe the price to be reasonable.
they are still working on the format for all of this, and I am still finding new applications and ways to play with it and did not like it at first but loving it now.
I think it is a matter of knowing how to use it before comenting on whether you really like it or hate it.
Much better that the old trees they had up until a few months ago.

Researching my birth Mum's families, Clelford and Sainsbury from Wiltshire, UK. Also searching for my father, who like me is J1e y-DNA.
Currently desperate for ANY records of Christopher Henry Lodge Thomas AFTER his entry in the 1911 Census, i.e. marriage, migration, prison, death?

I am also looking for information on my great grandmother, Sophie (Rossi-Sheff-Archer) Robinson (1914-2000). Her parents were Toni Rossi and Grace Grosso. Her parents are from Italy and moved to Canada. Before Sophie was born, her parents moved to WA. She had two brothers: Fred and Peter and two sisters: Mary and Antoinette.

There's a lot of information I am looking for. First off, I am trying to find information on Stephen D. Hale. He is my mom's birth-father. Not exactly sure when he was born but it was around 1939-1941 in Atchison, KS. His father was Walter Lorn Hale and his mother I believe was Flossie Mae Hershon. Around 1958, He married Barbara Archer and a couple years later got divorced.
