Hello, My family ended up in Arkansas. My gggrand father was Jo An Brewer, his son was Stephen Brewer. My grandfather was George Shields, his father was John Henry Shields. My ggggrandmother was Harriet Johnson-Matthews.

Hi everyone,

I have been looking for info on my fathers side of the family for so long, his name is General Bryant, b.1913 in Monroe, Brinkley Ark. his mothers name was Edrean Lomax and his fathers was was also General Bryant on one of the census it said that his father was born in Ark, and then one said TN. I have never met any of my relatives not even my grandma, I am 43 years old and would like to know more about them and find any living relatives so if anyone can help that would be great, because I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I am looking into my cousins ancestry Harris from Arkansas. They lived in Helene, and Monticello Arkansas.

My maternal great great grandmother, Catherine McDaniel, died between 1870 and 1880 in either McDonald Co., MO or Benton Co., AR. She and her husband plus two adult un-married daughters were together in McDonald Co., MO in 1870 but David McDaniel and the two girls were in Benton Co., AR and David was a widower in 1880. I am interested in locating the girls and/or David after 1880 and need to find out Catherine's maiden name. I have tested my mtDNA as part of the effort and am K2a.
