I can only trace my Delaney line back to my 3rd great-grandfather, John Delaney, who was born 1813-1815 somewhere in Ireland and came to Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania sometime before 1840. He married Eliza Gould Sando from Cornwall England. Eliza must have converted to Catholicism, because the kids, grandkids, etc. were baptised in Irish Catholic Churches in Schuylkill County.
