Hello, I have just joined here and this is my very first post on the forum. There doesn't seem to be much happening yet so I hope to add a little. Not surprisingly my Doherty line came from Ireland. It was my mothers maiden name. I have a Doherty website at :-

I have not yet done a deep research on my Doherty line and the ones I have are still living.
If you would like to take over as Admin for this group, just let me know. If it shows only one member, that would be me, in this case if you would like to make your own group for this surname, I can delete this one and add my information to yours. Just let me know.
