Have my Edwards line back to 1600's Starting near Connecticut and my line in Indiana.

John Edwards landed in Pennsylvania circa 1703. He married Barbary Miller. The first 3 generations lived near Valley Forge, then some moved on to Hillsborough, Ohio, then on to Maryville, Missouri, my grandparents to Oklahoma and from there my generation spread to the four winds.

I really don't know much about the Edwards' family. If my grandmother was still alive, she would be able to tell you who, what, when, where, & how!! lol But I only have so much info on the families that I have listed.

Hi;
My 2GGrandparents on my Dad's side are; Joseph EDWARDS b. abt. 1851 Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada and Flora McDOUGALL b abt 1851 Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. They seem to disappear after the Canadian 1881 Census. My GGrandfather Alexander EDWARDS was born just after the census was taken, but he and his brother Joseph Francis EDWARDS were raised by a seemingly unrelated families of KENNEDY & MacDONALD. Alex was raised by John & Lucy (KENNEDY) MacDONALD and Joseph Francis was raised by Catherine & Susan KENNEDY (sisters to Lucy). There were also 3 sisters to Alex and Joseph Francis, Mary Ann, Margaret Jane and Florence.
I would like to find out what happened to Joseph & Flora as well as what was the relationship to the KENNEDY's. Joseph's parents were John & Mary EDWARDS and Flora's parents were Neil & Christy (McCUISH) McDOUGALL.

Any help with this line would be most appreciated.

On the Edwards', I could only trace back to my Great Grandfather, George Edwards. He was married to Jenny Lee Neal.

Hi there! My Edward connection is on my dad's side in Missouri. My branch of the Edwards came from Ashe County, North Carolina to Lafayette and Saline Counties in Missouri, then on to Johnson County, Missouri, near the Kansas border. Is anyone else from this branch?

I don't know how far the Edwards' go. Some of what I've found was what I've been told by my grandmother and what I've found on ancestry.com. I would love to know more about my extended family and who I might be related to and what countries I have relatives at.

Hi Everyone,
Just found the GW site and the Edwards List. I have my Edwards line back to John Edwards born c1765 in Norfolk. John married Maria Franks at High Halstow, Kent in 1810. There was several issue from the marriage including my 2nd great grandmother another Maria born 1821 at Stoke Hoo, Kent.
