I have two Rogers lines out of NC-
Matilda Born 1780 called "Pinkey" married probably Chatham Co NC-Amos Aven, and after the 1810 Census-moved to Tn-where she lived the rest of her life. She died 1856 Henderson Co Tn. (She was the dtr of Tobias W- "Bias" who died 1845 Chatham...and is named in his will.
Her Son-James Stanford Aven born 1810 NC died 1882 Preston, Webster, Ga-for some reason, came to Ga as a young adult-and married Rebecca Rogers 1819-Putnam Co Ga-1881 Preston--- in 1837 Henry Co Ga-the dtr of Elisha Rogers War if 1812 Soldier- b a 1770 NC died aft 1837-probably Henry Co. Ga.

Elisha moved through Ga with the children and grandchildren of Joseph- He married 1809 Putnam Co Ga Mary Hall-as his second wife. He had at least before this marriage- Balaam W 1790, Anon C a 1798, Elisha 1801,Richmond Charles 1802 and Crawford 1807.
