I have information and am researching the following surnames of Cobb county for the period of about 1830 to 1853: COLMAN,COLEMAN,BARNES,BURFORD,BUFFORD,KOLB.

I am researching Guess family. Some of the allied families are Hardage and Summers.

I live in Cobb County and also own a "Cobb County, Georgia Early Marriage Index" book. Would be happy to look in my book if given Grooms or Brides name and if they were black or white (they are separated in the book).

My Cobb County ancestors include Waters and Smith. These are my two biggest brick wall families.

I'd be interested to see if you had any John or James Waters/Watters (white) marriages in your book. Also, looking for the marriage of John Whitlock. They both married the same woman - Mary UNKNOWN Waters Whitlock.
