Rachel Greenberry Howe b a 1746 NC d a 1786 Clark Co Ga and married 1761 William Daniel Rev. Sol.They had 11 Known children- Rev. William Daniell born 22 Sep 1767 Brunswick Co Va died 1831 Emanuel Co Ga married Elizabeth Davis of Chatham Co NC. They had 6 children-
#2 was Elizabeth b a 1794-married a 1809 Turner Scarborough (war of 1812) and this-my ancestors-had Amelia "Milly" married 1856 Terrell Co Ga. Daniel Hooks. Both her parents were dead by the time she was a teen, and she lived with a sister in 1850. Her husband appeared in one census with her 1860-in Lee Co Ga where both lived (The Courthouse burned shortly before their marriage so I imagine that's why they went to the next county) One son appeared in 1860.
Daniel died before the next census-in the Civil War. Amanda appeared in Stewart Co Ga-next with the two young boys. By the next census 1880-she was also dead. Ms Gerry Hill
