My Link family started off on the Sir William Johnson land in the Mohawk Valley of New York before the Revolution. They came to Upper Canada as Loyalists. This group will focus on their descendants.

My husband-John Joseph Link, Jr. (born Bowling Green, KY)
His brother-John Vernon Link
Their father-John Joseph Link, Sr.
Their grandfather-John Vernon Link married to Daisy and lived in/buried in KY.
I'll have to get to my records for more in depth information. I do know that there were several brothers who came over from Germany. Some settled in KY and others in Cross Plains, TN and surrounding areas. One of the LINK relatives was Post Master, I believe in Nashville, TN and one worked at Union Station at one time. My husband and father-in-law are brick masons. The Grandfather may have been as well, but I'll have to check to be sure. I know there was a mill, driven by a water wheel, on or in the area of the home place in KY that the Grandfather and other family members owned or worked in.
My understanding is that one of the daughters in one generation married someone by the last name of DOCTOR. There was also an ancestor that joined the Mormon faith in it's earliest beginnings.
My husband and I were given an old blue velvet photo album with many pictures of the LINKs and some related families. When I have access to a scanner, I will post them to this site.
Sorry for the bits and pieces. I haven't worked on this in a while and will have to locate my records.
