I have photos, taken by another cousin, of the House Hollow mantle, etc. I would be glad to share them. ( If I can remember how to upload them). I will try to do this, but first I must scan them into my computer.

I am an 8th generation (grandson) from Mattias Haus (House). I would like to share information that others may want and gather inoframtion tha I am looking for. My brother Barry and I visited the House Hollow farm in October of 2008 and were refused access to the home to take photos of teh Stair case and Mantel that Matthias had shipped from Germany. We did visit the Hebron Luthuran Church where my brother sat and ploayed teh original organ that Aron House and others caried to Va. From Germay via Pa. I would like to communicate with Nacy Perry House if she is still lliving.

Ralph, My great grandfather AUSTIN HOUSE, born April 22, 1839, was the brother of THOMAS A. HOUSE, who was born March 26, 1833. Their father was ADAM HOUSE, JR. born, Dec. 29, 1806, whose father was ADAM HOUSE, born , Jan. 3, 1763 and his father was MATTHIAS HOUSE, born 1737.

This family started out in VA, went to TN, and then to MO, where they lived until the day of their deaths. Could this be the THOMAS HOUSE that you are looking for?

Being in the Army and traveling to many places, I am always running into other people by the name House. Some I have found a common ancestor with, normally through either Indiana/Ohio families or Matthais from Virginia.

My question is, does anyone here know of a family link to the House family from the Soldotna area in Alaska? I am currently stationed in Alaska and about two years ago ran into a young man by the name of House there. I don't know if there is a relation or not.

Thanks for starting this group. I am Ralph A. House, a decendant of Thomas Allen House who was born in Ohio and died in Eaton, Indiana. My father is Ralph S. House, the son of George W. House, who was Thomas's grandson by Alvin Spencer House.

I know Thomas was a decendant of Matthais, but I do not know who the people were bewteen Matthais and Thomas or where they lived. Do you?

Jun 30, 2002 Susie House Cooper passed away sometime in
the middle of the night. Susie was paralyzed on her right
side a few days ago from a stroke and had been in a DEEP COMA. Her
daughter in law Lois and her cousin Naomi are were watch over her at
the Nursing Home in Fla.
For those of you who are not familar with her, she compiled all her HOUSE Family research into a book form many years ago. Th info started with the House lineage in Madison Co., Va and covered many of children of the House family.

I have added some photos in the group of "all photos". I would like to know if anyone knows who the gentlemen "titled, more HOUSE photos, is. I have a group of photos that are HOUSE FAMILY, but no names for them. This man looks much like my Dad and one of my sons. I wondered if he might be ADAM HOUSE, JR. Does anyone know who he is?

I am happy to find this group. I am a HOUSE by birth. I was born in MO, and Matthias was my 4th great grandfather. I enjoyed seeing the photos. I have some photos of the HOUSE family that I will post later. I would like to find out if anyone knows their identity.
