Where did George Stafford go and where was he from?

   My husbands side of the family has given me more than my fair share of blocks.  This one is his Great Grandfather.  Some records (census records of his son) show George as born in Wyoming, one other shows Colorado.  Since where they lived was close to the state boarder it is possible that there was some confusion as to which state. There are no records showing how old he was at a given time or how he met his wife.  I can only assume he was born somewhere around 1876 like his wife. 

    Here is what I do know.  He was presumed to be married to Elizbeth Maude Row born in KS 1876, had a son Walter Roy Stafford in 1893 in Tie Siding Wyoming.   Elizabeth went onto marry a man by the name of Herbert Robinson born in England, married 1898 in Albany County, Laramie Wyoming.  

     It is unclear if George died or there was a divorce I have not been able to locate any records of him.  Family story is that he died.  There was a Earnest Stafford that was 3 who died in 1880 in Tie Sideing but there is no info on his family that I can find.  I can't find any info on when the Elizabeth and possibly her family went to Wyoming either.  So it is possible that George went to Ks... Many records were lost in of course a fire and the cemetery is the origional one that was used way back and records of burial were not up to date or complete.   I know wyoming can be tough to search but any ideas or tips or even a find would be great help.
