You may want to ask a member named Jim Avery. He lives down that way and might know the best place to look. Here is his page.

Also you won't be to far from Gettysburg. You should take a drive over there for something to do too.

Thank you for your suggestions on Franklin County. We will stay in Chambersburg. The family (Beinbrech/Bonebrake) actually lived in the Grindstone Hill area. Are you familiar with that area? Do you think I would be more likely to find info on them in Chambersburg? I am talking about 1780-1810.

I'm sure any of these would be helpful along with local librarys and the county courthouse

I am looking for information on the parents of James Sanford Berry, my great-grandfather. He was an orphan. Possibly born in Philadelphia, his father might have been a firefighter and he might have had a sister named Annie. He died in 1902 in Santa Ana, CA

I am looking for information on Thomas TRAUL born 1762 in PA and died 2 Dec., 1831 in Bethlehem Twp., Stark, OH. His wife was Sophia MILLER born abt 1776 in PA & died 14 Feb, 1831 also in Bethlehem Twp, Stark, OH. Thomas TRAUL's dad was an immigrant from Germany, but I don't know any more about the man. Thomas & Sophia had a son Conrad TRAUL born 16 June, 1807 in Potter Twp, Centre, PA & died 27 Jan, 1855 in Galion, Crawford, OH. His wife was Rachel T. Knisely born 10 July, 1809 in New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas, OH & died 8 Feb, 1888 in Galion, Crawford, OH. She was of Swiss descent. I would really appreciate any help with this brick wall of mine, if anyone has any information! Thanks!

Surname I'm researching is Criswell, aka Creswell, Cresswell. Specific person: John M. Criswell/Creswell, b. c. 1829; may have resided in Cecil Twp, Washington County. Married Amanda Johnson, b. Ohio. Last known residence: Wayne Co, Iowa, 1870. Haven't been able to get farther back than him.
