Yes, publishing these colourful scraps on the web or DVD is wonderful. And it would look fabulous in a bound book, but there's a difference. Colour printing in books is expensive, when done correctly. Perhaps your family would share in the costs, but they will be much higher than the other two media.

Hi everyone! I am new to the group. I love to scrap and I love doing genealogy so this group seems perfect. I have been wanting to find some way to preserve my research in a meaningful way, other than just files and notes. This seems perfect!
Up until now I have been an all paper scrapper but I would love to learn how to do some of it digitally! All advice is welcome!

Ya know Sandra, you could always just make the physical scrapbook and then scan the pages, making digital copies of them. That's what I was doing. I had no idea there was a program that would do all this for you ..

Know a little bit about regular scrapping but nothing about digital or computer scrapping, but I think it would be a bit easier. I just read you need a program, that might leave me out then because I have no program or means to get one at this time.

When she first came online here, I knew that Katrina was a scrapper! Her sense of humour, her fighting spirit, and her hurricane name! I'm proud that she's my friend and I'll LEARN to scrap, too. (Just don't ask me to like Rap Music, as I consider that an oxymoron.)

Yvonne, I am working on our home page where we can display things but for now, just put them into the post your pages discussion up in the discussions area, or start a new discussion for them. When I have the home page ready I'll transfer them there where they will be more nicely displayed.
