Trying to confirm that ANNA MARIA KREINER is indeed the wife of our elusive Heinrich (aka Henry) SOLT who died in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Thanks in advance.CherylContinue

I think this SOLDT is related to who we are looking for!

Now I am not positive on the wife but its the info that I ran into and I am excited to see if I can prove it. I got it from another family tree so it might be right on the money but I like to double check before I lock it into my family tree. Thanks for the interest into the Hoffman line. My Hoffman's are from around Daulphin Co. Pa I am searching for a Samuel Hoffman from Germany.

Joseph,
I've been unable to locate any information on Heinrich other than a few tidbits in Bucks County, PA records listing him as Henry Solt. To find his wife would be a HUGE breakthrough.

I also have HOFFMAN/HOFFMANN's in my direct line that I've traced back to a Christian HOFFMAN(N) (1826-1891) in Cincinnati, Ohio. Any relations?

Cheryl,
My relative is the brother of your relative which is Daniel Solt brother of Johannes Nicholos SOLT. I have found out that Henrich's wife was Anna Maria Kreiner. If you can confirm that it would be great.

It is reporting> A Johannes Nicholos SOLT OR SULT was born on Aug 10 1722 in Northampton Co., Pa. He married Maria Catharine BAILLET in 1757 in Northampton Co., Pa.
Is this who you were looking for in Germany?

I thought this was interesting, but not sure if it is related. Consider the timeframe, but in March 3, 1777 a bill received by royal assent #42, there was a George William Soltau, Son of Martin Soltau and Ann Engel Soltau his wife, born ar Bergedorf in Holstein, in Germany. The must have been in Germany for a while before receiving this. I am wondering if related family later traveled to England to cross over before the revolution.

Still working on "van/von Solt's" of Aachen, Germany which are part of the "van Solt/Soldt" family.

Who was Johan Nicholas Solt married to?

Breaking news!
I have been informed by a researcher there maybe an additional brother to my ancestor Paulus van Soldt/van Solt. Also seems to imply a possible german connection.

I read somewhere there have been 3 male American "Solt's" who contributed DNA. I would like to find out there halogroup if anyone knows?

Very nice Picture! Does that say Solt or Sold. Also send me your email(in private>so no spammers) so I can give you access to my albums so you can see the arms I think may be related to you. I would also love to see the one you have because I collect phony arms in a seperate album if I do not have it already.

You have it pretty much in a nutshell. I am unable to find anything but a smige tidbit about a Heinrich SOLT in PA abt 1750. There is a warrantee for land dated 27 Feb 1750 for a Henry SOLT in Bucks County - but nothing before that. And no one has found Henrich/Henry's grave either.

I have a copy of a SOLT coat of arms - but don't know if it is the one you reference.

I remember that the "Solt" research here in the states hit a brick wall at some point. Is this still the case? One of the Solt's doing reseach contacted me in regards to Solt Coat of Arms he had. He was a little disappointed when I explained to him that the belonged to the dutch family van Sol(d)t (my family on mother's side). However I told him about another coat of arms I was researching on (unproven so far) possibily related family to our but more like the american Solt. I posted some information and it appears to me that a few people are making progress from what I see on the net under Solt/Sold/Soldt variants within the same Solt family of France/Germany.
