Hi all, Like Tracy below, I am researching primarily in Clark and Codington Counties. My ancestors in this area came there primarily in the 1880s and 1890s. I am researching the Philp, Brown, Veeder, Evans, Lenz, Karpinske, and associated families. If anyone is researching some of the same families or in the same area/time (regardless of which surnames), I'd love to talk more with you.

My maternal lines are all connected to South Dakota, particularly Clark and Codington counties but also Moody and Lake counties. Surnames include Harmon, Arthur, Myers, Struble, Hiby or Hoiby, Hanson. The Harmons came to Clark area in the 1880s, the Arthurs, Myers and Strubles to Moody in the 1880s, and the Hiby and Hansons to Clark by 1900.
